About NECA
 

The  goal of NECA is to keep its members informed of changes in the neighborhood that may affect their quality of life and help them form reasonable courses of action to deal with these changes.

Who Speaks for NECA?
When the NorthEast Citizens' Association (NECA) takes an official position, it is after an issue has been discussed by the membership and a vote taken. Our policy is not to take a vote unless it has been advertised in our meeting flyer distributed to all households in NorthEast.
 
Only the President of NECA or a person authorized in writing by the president may speak on behalf of the Association.
 
Privacy Policy
The information provided either with payment of dues or on meeting sign-in sheets will always remain confidential. It will never be loaned, sold, or given to anyone. It is the policy of the NorthEast Citizens' Association to use the information ONLY for official NECA business or to provide civic information.

Contribution Policy
Charitable contributions are a very important and personal choice. The world is full of good charitable organizations. As such, NECA has no objections to people announcing a need at one of our meetings. However, we feel it is inappropriate to promote any particular group or cause. If you wish to do so, please email the President advising of your wish to speak briefly at an upcoming meeting.
